Yo considero a Tricky un genio, y como tal, dependiendo de su ánimo, de cómo ande su vida, es capaz de lo peor y de lo mejor. Para mí Poems es una muestra de su genialidad.
No sólo la música me encanta, la letra es remarcable.

Esta pieza viene en un album de 1996 en el que Tricky usa el seudónimo de “Nearly God”, y consiste en colaboraciones con otros artistas (Alison Moyet, Neneh Cherry, Björk ). En Poems cantan además de Tricky, su compañera en el inicio de su carrera, Martina y el cantante del grupo de Ska The Specials, Terry Hall.

Además de su propia música, Tricky es muy aficionado a hacer covers. Para Live at The White Room, Tricky interpreta con Terry Hall una inquietante versión de Ghost Town, y luego se les une Martina para tocar Poems.

Yo también lo amo, y esa voz nos reivindica a todos los asmáticos. Las varas que hace ahora me gustan, el último disco es excelente, pero extraño a Martina : (
